Delivery truck drivers tell us that we have the largest vegetable plant selection they’ve ever seen…and they see other garden centers on their delivery routes everday!  We are proud of our variety list which includes over 150 tomatoes (hybrids and heirlooms) and over 75 peppers (sweet and hot), including the world’s record holding hottest pepper on earth…Bhut Jolokia!  We also carry 10 varieties of eggplant, 15 varieties of summer squash and zucchini, 15 varieties of cucumber, 10 varieties of melons (including true cantaloupe), asian greens, asparagus, beans, beets, broccoli, brussel’s sprouts, cabbage, celery, collards, corn, cauliflower, edamame, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuces, okra, onions, pak choi, pumpkins, spinach, summer and winter squash, swiss chard and more!

We only deal with hand-picked local growers and most of our vegetable and herbs are Frederick County Grown!

Our herb selection is second to none and if we don’t have it, just ask and we will do our best to get it for you.  We have both annual and perennial herbs which we carry year ’round, so you’ll always have something fresh for your recipes.  Why pay more for a single bunch of herbs at the grocery store than you will for a growing plant that you can trim to use in your cooking over and over  again!  Don’t forget your pets…we carry cat grass and catnip too.  There is also citronella (mosquito plant), scented geranium, horseradish, watercress and arugula in our selection and strawberries too, both everbearing and Junebearing.   We can extend your growing season with the availability of cole crops (sometimes called cold crops) such as broccoli, cabbage, spinach and cauliflower for planting in March and a second crop for planting in July or August for fall harvest.
