Dutch Plant Farm Annuals
Annuals are plants that you plant in the spring and enjoy throughout the season, typically until the first frost, and sometimes even longer. They are less expensive than perennials and bloom much longer, but are not winter hardy in our area.
Benefits of Annuals
Every landscape can benefit from annuals in containers, hanging baskets, and in the garden. Perennials bloom and fade, trees and shrubs may temporarily bloom or bear fruit, but your annuals will continue to bloom throughout the season. Each year you can change the look of your garden and use different annuals, in different shapes, heights and colors. Most annuals will quickly decline after the first frost.
